Bike!

Geez Civil Disobedience section editor Christopher Paetkau has been involved with the creation of a video project called Bike! See what Christopher had to say about the video below.

“We wanted to celebrate bicycling in whatever form that takes, and to normalize cycling by featuring all kinds of cyclists. The idea was that almost everybody has, at one time or another, been on a bicycle and that everyone has always been a cyclist. It’s not about who rides what bike, how fast they ride it, or what they wear while riding. It’s about human powered transportation and the freedom and fun that comes from that.”

“We wanted to make a video that helped get people to think they were part of the club… whether they live life on pedals and spokes, or whether they’re just out for a cruise. Our underlying philosophy was: You’ve always been a cyclist. Keep moving.”
