Lament along the pipeline
See a full PDF poster here. As the battle over the Northern Gateway Pipeline heats up, and as fellow Christians in Michigan lament the intrusion of another pipeline in their backyard, we gather near the Enbridge pumping station in Gretna to:
• express sorrow that oil already courses through underground pipelines in Manitoba
• repent of our complicity in the demand for oil
• embrace the mystery of the dark night of the soul and its promise of new life.
