Become a Geez Dandelion Seed

Are you a Geez nerd? Would you like to cultivate a wider community of Geez readers in your area? Do you have a few extra hours this summer? We have a paid opportunity for you to consider.

Join the Geez team for our first cohort of Geez Dandelion Seeds!

Like seeds blown with the wind, our strange and fringe-y Geez community is spread far and wide around Turtle Island and the world. This summer, we are looking for 10-20 folks across Canada and the U.S. who are interested in helping us grow our Geez readership – while also resisting capitalist forms of advertising!

For the months of June, July, and August, Dandelion Seeds will commit to 10 hours per month to spread the good, weird word of Geez. The job is creative and flexible. That could look like flyering coffee shops and community centres, starting a study group, hosting an event with your worship community, painting a mural, doing a meet and greet on campus, connecting with local independent bookstores and libraries . . . or any of your other creative ideas! Twice a month, the Dandelion cohort will join together for 1-hour Zoom call with Geez staff, but otherwise the time is yours to decide how to bring Geez more deeply into your community. This work will be compensated with a $500 stipend and a special box of Geez supplies.
