Canadian Ecumenical Anti-Racism Network book launch

Canadian Ecumenical Anti-Racism Network (CEARN), a part of the Canadian Council of Churches, has recently published Cracking open White identity towards transformation a Christian resource with tools for examining, engaging and challenging White privilege.

The book is laid out in a workbook format, with personal stories by various Canadian Council of Churches church members regarding facing their own White privilege, partnered with exercises to encourage readers to dig deeper and apply learnings to their own lives.

Join several of the contributing writers who are local to Winnipeg in launching the book at Sam’s Place on Henderson Highway on June 5 from 7-9pm. There will be readings, books for sale and a time for questions and dialogue.
