Turning a car into a bicycle

A group from the cycling magazine B Cultura da Bicicleta has built a bike in a different way than you might be used to.

The group decided to build as much of a bicycle as possible from car parts. This involved plenty of cutting and welding because a car, such as a Mercedes like they used, is not built out of bike parts.

The end result is a stunning bike named Carma, which is crafted from almost completely from recycled parts.

The bike will now go on tour in Europe to equalize the kilometers the bike goes to the kilometers the car went. They are hoping to reduce the cars’ karma.
