Job opening: Designer
Here at Geez we have a part-time job opening for a designer (5 hours a week). We’re looking for a person to join our Winnipeg, Manitoba, team. 5 hours/week ($325/mo., i.e., $3,900/yr, $15/hr)
Working with direction from the Editor, the Designer is responsible for designing four print issues a year, in collaboration with other staff. In addition, there will be some design of online items, art direction, and photo and art research.
Our office is wheelchair accessible. Geez magazine seeks to articulate and embody an alternative to mainstream corporate business practices. We have a flat pay scale and the board makes decisions by consensus.
